Since Neighborhood Cats was founded in the fall
of 1999, the progress made in the treatment of New York City's stray and
feral cats has been inspiring!

We've taken our success and packaged it so other communities can benefit as well! Neighborhood Cats features one of the most popular websites on feral cats in the world. We were the first to publish a comprehensive handbook on TNR, the first to author an online course, the first to produce an instructional video on TNR'ing entire cat colonies at once, the first to enter a contract with a muncipality to implement TNR city-wide, and the first to produce the National Feral Cat Summit. Our work is regularly featured in media both locally and nationally and we have become leaders in the field.
